Champion of Regional Collaboration
The Capital Region Collaborative evolved from discussions between ChamberRVA and the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission and has become a regional effort to engage government, business, and community stakeholders in prioritizing and implementing actions that will enhance the quality of life in the Richmond Region.
InterCity Visits
Our InterCity Visits continue to break ground when it comes to creating an environment where Richmond region’s leaders can engage in meaningful dialogue and generate innovative ideas from peer cities that are open to sharing their successes and failures with us. This three day agenda packed trip has directly resulted in the implementation of many RVA initiatives, businesses and programs.
Early Childhood Education: Smart Beginnings
ChamberRVA has set regional and statewide precedents by establishing early childhood as a component of its workforce development strategies and by raising awareness of the issue among elected officials and business leaders.
Workforce Development: Mission Tomorrow
Mission Tomorrow is the Richmond region’s first interactive career exploration event for students. Through an interactive series of activities and discussions with employers, Mission Tomorrow will encourage students to explore career interests and in-demand jobs from 100+ businesses in our region.
